(a) it is easy to pour a liquid:

Since a liquid has it particles/molecules less tightly packed and the inter-molecular force of attraction is very less. As a result liquids can flow easily.

(b) a gas will completely fill any container:

Because the particles in the gas a very loosely packed (even looser than liquid). Due to their kinetic energy, the particles have a tendency to spread out very quickly and get diffused into the surroundings. Hence, the gas completely fills the container without leaving space.

(c) a solid expands when it is heated:

When the solid is heated, the molecules in it gain more kinetic energy. As a result the molecules start moving very fast and they can then break through the bond of their tight inter molecular space. The tightly packed molecules are now set free and the solid expands.
