(a-b)^2=a^2+b^2-2ab

(100-1)^2=100^2+1^2-2(100)(1)

10000+1-200

=9801

Therefore 99^2=9801

Answer:

9801

Step-by-step explanation:

(a-b)=a²-2ab+b²

99 can also be written as 100-1

Atq,

(100-1)²=(100²)-(2*100*1)+(1²)

=10000-200+1

=9800+1

=9801

May it helps!!!!!!
