 = (100 + 1)(100 - 1)

Now, We know that ,

(x + y)(x - y) =  {x}^{2}  -  {y}^{2}

Therefore,

(100 + 1)(100 - 1)

 =  {100}^{2}  -  {1}^{2}

 = 10000 - 1

 = 9999
