in this case,
x is 4x
a is 5
b is -1
therefore,
as (x+a)(x+b)=x²+(a+b)x+ab
(4x+5)(4x-1)=(4x)²+(5-1)4x+(5)(-1)
= 16x² + 16x - 5

Lolll: but how to do that
rohanharolikar: click the 3 dots on top right of my answer
rohanharolikar: then click mark as brainliest
rohanharolikar: you will get points for that
Lolll: their no 3 dot s
Lolll: can you tell me how this -5 came..
Lolll: 16x^2+16x-5
rohanharolikar: the last term was 5 * -1
rohanharolikar: which is -5
Lolll: ok ..thanks
