Given

ABCD is a quadrilateral

Solution

Area of given figure = Area of Rectangle + Area of ∆

First we have to Find Base of ∆

By Pythagorean theorem

(H) ²=(P) ²+(B) ²

(B) ²= (H) ²-(P) ²

B= √144

B= 12

Area of given figure = Area of Rectangle + Area of ∆

= (23×9)m² + 1/2×12×9

= 207+54

= 261m²
