Using the method of completing the square find the root of the quadratic equation :x^2-5x 6

Your answer is here..,

x2 - 5x + 6=0

- by completing square method.

(1/2×x)^2

= (1/2 × 5)^2

=( 1/4 × 25)

= 25/4

add 25/4 in equation

x^2 - 5x + 25/4 = -6×4/1×4 + 25/4

=( ×-5/2)^2 = -24/4 + 25/4

=( x - 5/2)^2 = +-root of 1/4

x - 5/2 = +-1/2.

= x = -1/2 + 5/2 or x = 1/2 + 5/2

= x = 4/2. x = 6/2

= x = 2. x = 3.
