Given that - K = 1 / 2 ( I x W2 )

where , K is rotational kinetic energy.

I is moment of inertia .

w is angular velocity.

[ K ] = [ M l2 T-2 ]

[ I ] = [ M l2 T0 ]

[ w ] = [M0 L0 T-1]

LHS - [ k ] = [ M L2 T-2]

RHS - [ I ] [ w ]2 = [M L2 T0 ] [ M0 L0 T-1 ] 2

= [ M L2 T0 ] [ M0 L0 T-2 ]

= [ M L2 T-2 ]

hence LHS = R HS ....therefore eqn is dimensionally correct..
