Mno4^- = Mn2+

7=2 (decreases by 5)

Fe2+ = Fe3+

2=3 (increases by 1) ×5

Now it is

now add h20 to oxygen deficient side

Mno4- + 5Fe2+. = Mn2+. + 5Fe3+ + 4H20

now add H+ in hydrogen deficient side

Mno4- + 5Fe2+. + 8H+= Mn2+. + 5Fe3+ +4H20
