Given : first 6 odd number

To Find :  the sum

Solution:

Property :

Sum of first n odd natural number  = n²

to find sum of first 6 odd number

use n = 6

Hence sum = 6²  = 36

1 + 3 + 5 + 7 + 9 + 11  = 36

Using AP

a = 1

d = 2

n = 6

Sum  = (n/2)(2a + (n-1)d)

= (6/2)(2 * 1 + (6 - 1) * 2)

= 3( 2 + 10)

= 3(12)

= 36

Hence the sum of first 6 odd natural  numbers  is 36
