We have

(2x -   2\sqrt[]{2}y ) {}^{2}

(2x) {}^{2}  + (2 \sqrt[]{2}y) {}^{2}  - 2 \times 2x \times  2\sqrt[]{2}y

4x^2+8y^2-8

4x^2+8y^2-8 \sqrt{2} xy
