Everything stopped, people were still like statues all around me! People in cars, men on bicycles, babies in prams all lifeless, frozen in time...My heart was beating hard and fast, until I saw a beastly figure lurking in the shadows. The demonic creature was devouring the people frozen in time. Shuddering, I ran the opposite direction of the hellish creature. I sat down under the shelter of a library and caught my breath while looking around the huge walls filled with books. One certain book caught my eye, it had the same creature on the cover! I ran over and opened the book, trying to avoid the ghastly and gory images. The more I read, the more I regretted, The creature was actually from hell and had escaped, It had the power to stop time, which I had witnessed. but why could I still move?
