Using universal law of gravitation derive the equation which gives weight of an object on Moon with respect to Earth.

Let,

mass of earth= M

mass of moon= m

distance between them be=d

And the force between them be F

Therefore,

F= (GMm)/(d^2)

Therefore after calculation we would get,

m= (Fd^2)/GM

Therefore mass of moon with respect to the mass of earth will be,

Mass of moon = Fd^2/G x Mass of earth
