Germinated seeds are used in respiration experiments rather than green plants because germinated seeds are at a growing stage and so they perform respiration at a faster rate and so production of carbon dioxide can be observed at a faster rate than that in green plants..

Hope it works

Answer:

Explanation:

If green plants are used for respiration experiments the CO2 produced during respiration will be used by plants for photosynthesis .

As in order to avoid inconvenience we use germinating seed which respires and produce what is desired for experiments
