Heavy storms causes the roots in the soil to get detached from the tree/plant body and as a result a tree gets collapsed. The roots actually hold a tree firmly in the soil. Due to heavy storm, the trees begin to show a bending to the left or right or front or back. Due to this, roots are unable to hold the plant and ultimately it collapse.
