In this growing digital age, kids in this generation are much adapt with phones than with pen and paper.

Their typing speed can break many a record.

But, instead of this advent of media and virtual being bad, they can be used to increase the literacy amongst the children.  

When classrooms adapt to mass media learning, they expose the students to a medium which is easily grasped by them.

Video and audio leaning increases retention capability and not to mention decreasing paper wastage when the notes and exams are taken online.
