Solution :

Total SP = CP + GST

=> 9250 = CP + 12% CP

Let the CP be x

=> 9250 = x + 12x / 100

=> 9250 = 100x + 12x / 100

=> 9250 * 100 = 112 x

=> 925000 = 112 x

=> x = 925000 / 112 = Rs. 8258.9 which can be approximated to 8259.

Hence the actual Price would be Rs. 8259.
