Answer :-

  • Area of the triangle is 6cm².

Given :-

  • Sides of a triangle are 3cm, 4cm and 5cm.

To Find :-

  • Area of the triangle.

Solution :-

Here

sides of the triangle are

  • 3cm
  • 4cm
  • 5cm

As we know that

Area of a triangle is

  • [s (s - a) (s - b) (s - c)]

Let

  • a = 3
  • b = 4
  • c = 5

⇒ S = [a + b + c]/2

⇒ S = [3 + 4 + 5]/2

⇒ S = 12/2

⇒ S = 6

Put the values in the formula

⇒ Area of the triangle = √[6 (6 - 3) (6 - 4) (6 - 5)]

⇒ Area of the triangle = √[ 6 × 3 × 2 × 1

⇒ Area of the triangle = √36

⇒ Area of the triangle = 6cm²

Hence, the area of the triangle is 6cm².
