Once a child was playing on the bank of a river. Suddenly, his ball rolled into the river. He ran after the ball and fell into the river. A man passing by happened to see the struggling boy who had obviously seemed to not know how to swim. So, he immediately jumped right into the river and tried to catch hold of the boy who had by now, seem tired from all the struggling.  

Since the current of the river was a bit strong, the man also found it hard to immediately come ashore with the boy in tow. But after some couple minutes of struggling, they both managed to come to the shore. The man immediately shouted to the nearby villagers for help. Some women came running, while others came with dry clothes and towels for them both. The mother of the boy had been unaware of the whole situation. So, once she came to hear of it, she profusely thanked the young man for saving her son's life and also scolded her son for acting that way. She also made him promise never to do such things again.
