So at t= 3 , you will have v= 2 x 3 = 6m/s
Now it is given that it is 2m behind the origin at t=0
And we know v=u+at
So if u= 0
We will have v= at
And that is the format in which we have been given the value of v

Now for distance , you have s= ut+ 1/2 at^2
And u=0
So s= 1/2 a t^2
And t=3 ,given
So s = 1/2 x 2 x 9
= 9m
And 2m is behind origin
So it will be 7m ahead of origin
