Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Of rectangle,

base = 5cm

area = 20cm²

We know, area of rectangle

= height (length) × base

20cm² = height × 5cm

height = 4cm

Given,

height of triangle = height of rectangle

So,

height of triangle = 4cm

Base of triangle = 5cm

Area of triangle

= 1/2 × base × height

Area of triangle = 1/2 × 4 × 5

= 10cm²

Hope it helps!

Given that,

Base of the rectangle = 5cm and,

Area = 20cm^2

Area of rectangle = l×b

20 = 5×b

b = 20/5

b = 4cm

Now,

Area of triangle = 1/2×b×h

= 1/2×4×5

= 2×5

= 10cm^2.....is ur answer
