Steps:

1. Draw the base 'P Q' as 6 cm

2. Draw angles of 90° on both sides using a protractor

3. Take a distance of 6 cm in your compass and draw arcs on both sides

4.  join the arcs

to make sure that your construction is correct  keep the protector on one of the arcs , if the mark of 90° lies on the segment  SR then your construction is accurate....
