V - I graphs for two wires A and B are shown in the figure. Both of them are connected in series to a battery. Which of the two will produce more heat per unit time? Give justification for your answer.

Slope of VI graph gives resistance. The greater the resistance, the more is the heat produced. Slope ofA is greater than the slope of B. So A produces more heat
