Hello Users...

We have to find

Common difference (d) = ?

Solution:-

We know that

An = {a + (n-1)d }

here,

An = (a*n + b)

A1 = a × 1 + b = (a+b)

and

A2 = a × 2 + b = (2a + b )

now,

common difference (d) = A2 - A1

=> (2a+b) - (a+b) = = 2a - a = a

=> d = a Answer

Hope it helps...
