The photosynthesis is carried out using light energy trapped by chlorophylls. The chlorophyll pigments maximally absorb red and blue lights. Maximum photosynthesis occurs in red light followed by blue light and least in green light.

so, red > blue > yellow > orange is the correct sequence of colours.
