A body is at rest i.e. u=0 falls at acceleration i.e. a=9.8m/s^2 in time i.e. t=5 Second
So final velocity is v = 0+ 9.8× 5
v= 49m/s
So final velocity is v = 0+ 9.8× 5
v= 49m/s

Hello friend
------------------
v = u + at
This is the relation between velocity and time.
Take an example.......
✡ The speed of an object at Constant rate is 2m/s in 3 second with an acceleration 4 m/s^2. Then find the final velocity of object.
Given:
u = 2m/s
a = 4 m/s^2
t = 3 s
By using the formula
v = u + at
v = 2 +4*3
v = 2+12
v = 14 m/s.
Therefore the final velocity is 14m/s.
I hope this will helps you......
