Answer:

By First equation of newton

v = u + at

here,

u is initial velocity

v is final velocity

a is acceleration

t is time

u = 2 \\ a = -5 \\ t =  \frac{1}{-5}

Find v = ?

Putting value in newton's first equation

v = u + at

v = 2 + 5 \times   \frac{1}{-5}

v = 2 + (-\frac{5}{5})

v = 2 - 1 = 1

so, the final velocity is 1.
