EXPLANATION:-

For proving this equation v= u + at In this equation

  • v refers to - final velocity
  • u refers to - initial velocity
  • a refers to - accelartion
  • t refers to - time

As we know that ,

Acceleration- The rate of change of velocity with respect to time is called acceleration that means

Acceleration = \dfrac{Change\:in\: velocity}{Time}

Acceleration = \dfrac{Final\:velocity-Initial\:velocity}{Time}

a =  \dfrac{v - u}{t}

Do cross multiplication

a(t) \:  = v - u

at = v - u

But we need v

Tranpose - u to L.H.S

at + u = v

v = u + at

Hence proved !

s = ut +  \dfrac{1}{2} at {}^{2}

s = vt -  \dfrac{1}{2} at {}^{2}

v {}^{2}  - u {}^{2}  = 2as
