Why tungsten metal is used to make a solenoid type coil in an electric bulb.​

Answer:

Tungsten is used in electric bulb because Tungsten has a higher resistance and also . have a very high melting point . So , it doesn't melt easily even if we paas high voltage current . the very thin filament of bulb is made up of this metal .
