The Art and Cultural Affairs Department has been established for the promotion and development of performing, Art, Visual art, Plastic art & all crafts of the state.
This Department has been organizing workshops/camps on various art forms of the State such as dance, drama, paintings, photography, graphics, sculpture, music etc. and folk festivals on various occasions such as Teej, Haryana Day, Geeta Jayanti etc. Department also organizes classical and folk music dance, drama and other variety programmes from time to time and makes concerted efforts to arrange cultural shows on national festivals. It also arranges cultural programmes of International cultural troupes in collaboration with the Indian Councial for Cultural Relations and Festival of India.
