The basic difference BTW both of them is,

Miscible Liq. can be easily dissolved in any other liduids, but Immiscible Liq. do not dissolve in other liquids (mostly).

Eg. Water, Ethanol etc. are miscible liquids, while Oil in water is immiscible.

The way you can distinguish is, if the liquid is immiscible, you will be able to see a meniscus on the liquid, while for miscible liquids you will not.

Answer:

Miscible implies that liquids mix to form a homogeneous mixture in all proportions.

Immiscible is defined as the opposite, they don’t mix.

Water is miscible in a variety of liquids, but immiscible in oil. I hope this helps!
