The Keyboard Shortcut Layout feature is located in the Presentation section of the Personalize page, under the Options menu. When using the WorldClient or LookOut theme, this feature makes it possible for you to choose from several different shortcut key layouts similar to those used by other email clients. If you are already familiar with the shortcut key combinations used by another email client, such as Gmail or Outlook, then you can use this feature to cause LookOut or WorldClient to use your preferred layout.

LookOut is the default shortcut key layout. All other layouts override only the keys that conflict with the LookOut layout. If a shortcut key combination is not specifically overridden by an alternate layout, then the LookOut shortcut will still work.

Some shortcut keys are reserved by certain browsers and therefore cannot be overridden by Webmail when using those browsers. In Firefox, for example, Ctrl+R is the reserved shortcut key for reloading the current page. Therefore if you have selected the Thunderbird layout and are using Firefox as your browser, then Ctrl+R will not work reliably as the shortcut key for Reply. In that case, however, R will still function as the shortcut key, because that key is used for Reply by the default LookOut layout and isn't overridden by the Thunderbird layout.
