Honestly , I get shocked that we (Indian’s) do not even think or research before spreading any information.

I do not why we even do not think logical for such information

First, as mentioned by some of Quora friends “EAST INDIA COMPANY” was there since 17th Century and we studied about this in 5th 0r 6th Standard history class.I agree there is a possibility some people do not know or forget about it but I cannot believe people are not aware about 1857 revolt against EAST INDIA COMPANY.There are movies or TV serials on this revolution.

Second, Pakistan also got the Independence at the same time so technically it ‘s name also need too be “Independent Nation Declared In August” .

Third, India name originate from Indus river , I am not saying it, world’s one of the best source of Information “Wikipedia” providing this information for free.

Fourth, It worried me a lot as an Indian that how easy to spread any false information in today’s world , it does not matter what is the subject just choose some word such as “intolerance, Independent Nation Declared In August, beef ”and spread it on some social platforms after that we ( Indians) simply spread that without research and getting aware about the subject.
