The dynasty of Vakataka is a part of the Indian subcontinent. It is originated from the Deccan and is later extended towards the southern edges of Gujarat and also towards Malwa. When it comes to the north, they extended towards the Thungabadra river including the Arabian sea at the south. This is the reason why it is a disintegrated empire. It was moreover a Brahmin dynasty.
