We know that,
Weight ∝ Mass
also,
Weight ∝ g
and
Force ∝ mass [by second law of motion]
Force ∝ Weight [from relation 1]
Force ∝ g [from relation 1] [without loss of generality]
hence if g become twice then force will also be double and it will be more difficult to move that object
