Agriculture is the main source of livelihood in India. It depends on the fertility of the soil. When soil erode
it makes the land less productive and lead to landslides, floods and destroys the habitat of micro-organism
Wrong agricultural practices, deforestation for the expansion of agriculture, industrialisation, construction
of roads and railway lines are some of reasons of this menace.
What will be the after effects of this menace?

This menace would cause severe effects to the soil fertility and soil conditions. It would destroy micro-organisms and their source of living. Construction of roads and railways may put severe envoirnmental issues to other organisams there.
