Answer:

There are four quantum numbers for sulphur.

3,1,−1,−

The first quantum no: tells which energy level electron 16 is it, it is in level 3.

The second number tells that which sublevel the electron is in, it is the 3p subshell. S=0,P=1,d=2,F=3.

The third quantum no tells which orbital of the subshell an electron is in.

The 3 orbitals of the 3p sublevel will each fill with an up spin electron first, the left most orbital will get also down spin electron.

The 3 orbitals for a p sub level are labelled as −1,0,+1
