Given : Value of a two digits number when reversed is 6 less than twice its value when unreversed

To find : the number

Solution:

Let say two Digit number  = AB

Its Value = 10A + B

When reversed  number = BA

Value = 10B + A

10B + A  = 2(10 A + B)  - 6

=> 10B + A = 20A  + 2B - 6

=> 19A  = 8B + 6

B = A + 2

=> 19A  = 8(A + 2) + 6

=> 19A = 8A + 16 + 6

=> 11A = 22

=> A = 2

& B = 4

Number = 24

Reversed = 42

42 = 24 * 2 - 6

24 is the number
