Dielectric constant usually increases due to frenkel defect. First of all , frenkel defect arised due to the misplacement of +ve ions from lattice site to interstitial site leaving behind holes. But there is no loss of electrons from the crystal. Which means , there is no decrease in density and stability of crystal increases and also leave holes.. Therefore, dielectric constant increases due to frenkel defect.
