sec2-tan2=sec2-sin2/cos2=sec2 - sin2*sec2

sec2(1-sin2)

using trigonometric identity:

1-sin2=cos2

therefore

sec2*cos2

=sec2*1/sec2=1

hence the answer would be 1.
