Memorize these rules:

sin(-x) = —sin x

cos(-x) = cos x

tan(-x) = —tan x

This is because sine, tangent are odd functions while cosine is even.

So sin(-1125°) = — sin(1125°)

We then find out how far 1125 is from the nearest multiple of revolution (360°) less than it.

360 × 3 = 1080.

So 1125 is 45 greater, and thus

sin(-1125°) = — sin(1125°) = — sin(1080 + 45) = — sin(45°) = 12√
