Given:  cosec x +2 = 0, x (0 , 2π )

To find: Value of x?

Solution:

  • We have given cosec x +2 = 0.

          cosec x = -2

  • Now we know that cosec x = 1 / sin x. So writing it, we get:

          1 / sin x = -2

          sin x = -1 / 2

  • So x can be:

          x = (π + π/6) , (2π - π/6)

          x = 7π/6 , 11π/6

          x = 210 degrees and 330 degrees

Answer:

            So the value of x is 210 degrees and 330 degrees
