Given :-

  • Quadratic equation : 2x² + kx + k = 0.

To Find :-

  • What is value of k.

Solution :-

Given that, 2x² + kx + k = 0.

On comparing with ax² + bx + c = 0, We get :

➡ a = 2 , b = k , c = k

According to Question :-

{\boxed{\rm{\red{Δ = 0}}}}

[ Putting values ]

➡ b² - 4ac = 0

➡ (k)² - 4 × k × k = 0

➡ k² - 4k² = 0

➡ -3k² = 0

➡ k = 0.

Hence,

  • The value of k is 0.
