Answer: For the real and equal roots,

Discriminant=0

b²-4ac=0

Where , a=2, b=-k,c=k

Substitute these values in the above equation,

b²-4ac=0

K²-8k=0

K(k-8)=0

K=0, k=8

So the values of k are 0 and 8
