Answer:

πr^2h = 628cm3

voloume of cylinder formula

π r^2 20 = 628

r^2 20 × 3.14 = 628

r^2 × 62.8 = 628

r^2 = 10

r =√10

Given:

  • Volume = 628 cm³
  • Height = 20 cm

 \\

To Find:

  • Radius ( Cylinder )?

 \\

Solution:

 \\ \bigstar{\underline{\boxed{\tt\large{ \pink{ Volume_{(Cylinder)} } = πr^2h }}}} \\

 \\ {\underbrace{\tt\large{ Concept \, Used }}} \\

a cylinder is a three-dimensional solid that holds two parallel bases joined by a curved surface, at a fixed distance. These bases are normally circular in shape (like a circle) and the center of the two bases are joined by a line segment.

The perpendicular distance between the bases is the height, “h” and the distance from the axis to the outer surface is the radius “r” of the cylinder.

Let the Radius of the cylinder be x.

After substituting values,

 \implies v = πr²h

 \implies 628 = 22/7 × x² × 20

 \implies 628 × 7 / 22 × 20 = x²

 \implies 9.9 =

 \implies x = √9.9

 \implies x = 3.3 cm

Hence,

  • The Radius of the Cylindrical Rod is 3.3 cm.
