Answer:

consider prize of potatoes as x

so,onions price would be x+3

x+x+3=247

2x+3=247

2x=245

×=245/2

=122.5

therefore,prise of onion =x+3=122.5+3=125.5

prise of potatoes =122.5

125.5+122.5=247

Potato cost Per kg = Rs 20 & Onion Cost per kg  = Rs 23  if 9 kg onion + 2kg potato bought in Rs 247 & onion per kg is 3 Rs Costlier than Potato

Step-by-step explanation:

Let say Cost of Potato per kg  = P   Rs

Then Cost pf Onion per kg  = P + 3  Rs

2 kg  Potato  Cost  =  2P

Rs 9 kg Onions Cost = 9(P + 3)  = 9P + 27 Rs

Total Cost = 2P + 9P + 27

= 11P + 27

11 P + 27  = 247

=> 11P = 220

=> P = 20

Potato cost Per kg = Rs 20

Onion Cost per kg = Rs 23
