12 men complete the work in 5 day, if working 8 hours/day.

If working time increase by 2 hours/day.

Then , how many worker need=?

Let after increased 2 hours /day work may complete in 5 days.

M1×D1×H1= M2×D2×H2

M1=M2= Men

D1=D2= Days

H1=H2= Hour

And given data is.

M1= 12.

D1= 5=D2.

H1=8.

H2=10.

M2= ?

12×5×8=M2×10×5

480/50= M2

9.6 = M2

Answer:

She should work for more 0.67 times 8 hours.

Step-by-step explanation:

  • Vandana has worked on Wednesday for \frac{53}{8} hours.

        She should work daily for  12 hours.

       She needs to work more time to fulfill the requirement. The lacking in working time we can calculate by finding the difference between two times.

   She needs to work for more 12 - \frac{53}{8} hours = \frac{96-53}{8} hours = \frac{43}{8} hours daily.

  • Suppose the difference in working time is 8x hours.

       From the above calculation we can write, 8x = \frac{43}{8}

                                                                            x = \frac{43}{8\times 8} = \frac{43}{64}

                                                                           x = 0.67

      ∴ She should work for more 0.67 times 8 hours.

So, she needs to work for 5.37 hours more time to complete the working time 12 hours.
