Vanilla extract is dark brown in colour, then how vanilla ice cream is white in colour?

ice cream is made by mixing base ( milk ,sugar, heavy cream etc) and concentrate flavour ,the quantity of base is very high in comparison to concentrate this is why ice cream appears white in colour......try mixing very little drop of black colour in one litre white solution it still appear white
