Variations can be defined as the difference whether it is physiological , psychological or morphological amongest the individual of the same species and the offspring of the same parents

There are 2 types of variations :-

1. SOMATIC :-

a). It is also known as SOMATOGENIC

b). The variations those affect the body cells of the organisms.

c). They can also known as modifications characters.

d). They are acquired by the individual during their life time

e). They are caused by 3 factor :-

- Environment

- Conscious effect

- Disuse of organs

2. GERMINAL:-

a). It is also known as BLASTOGENIC VARIATION.

b). They are produced in the germ cells of an organisms

c). These are inheritable

d). They can be already present in ancestors or may be formed suddenly

e). These are of 2 types :-

- Continous

- Discountinous
