  • Diseases due to lack of nutrients in our body over a long period of time are known as deficiency diseases. Iodine deficiency, scurvy, beriberi, rickets, anemia, etc., are deficiency diseases.  
  • Environmental diseases are caused due to environmental factors. Asthma, cancer, Bronchitis, Trachoma, elephantiasis, etc., is caused due to environmental factors.  
  • When malfunction in our body causes illness, this condition is called physiological disorder. Diabetes, Hemochromatosis, anemia, autism, communication disorders, etc., are some type of physiological disorders.
