There are many problems faced by the mountaineers during summit. These problems force some of them to go back from the summit. One and most occurring problem is altitude sickness. High Altitude Pulmonary Edema, High Altitude Cerebral Edema and hypothermia are some of the major altitude sickness.
In all, mountaineers must concern themselves with dangers: falling rocks, falling ice, snow-avalanches, the climber falling, falls from ice slopes, falls down snow slopes, falls into crevasses and the dangers from altitude and weather.
